Roasted just a touch darker than our filter version, this espresso roast makes fantastic straight shots and Americanos.
This fruit bomb natural geisha was a discovery at the World of Coffee in April, and we're thrilled to have such a coffee on the menu! With punchy flavors of pineapple, cherry, and raspberry, this is a surefire tropical delight.
Cup of Excellence winner Pablo Andrés Guerrero produced this coffee on his farm El Obraje in Nariño, Colombia. Coffee cherries were hand picked at maximum ripeness. Then they were rinsed and floated to remove defects, all on the same day of picking. The coffee was fermented in cherry for 120 hours, followed my shade-drying for 8 days, finished with 38 hours of mechanical drying.
Sitting at an altitude of 2200 meters, more than half of the land is set aside as a nature reserve. Pablo grows caturra, castillo, maracaturra, geisha, typica, yellow & pink bourbon, mokka, and SL28! Hopefully Prodigal can share many of these varieties with you in the future!
Process: Washed
Region: Huila, Colombia
Variety: Chiroso
