We release at least one new coffee each week. A headline coffee will last on our menu anywhere from 2 weeks to 2+ months depending upon the size of the green lot, which is highly variable. We always offer two mainstay blends : Milk Blend Espresso and Boulder Blend. Though the components vary slightly over time, our blends are crafted for reliable flavor quality. We believe in saying that you can point blindly at our menu and love what you brew!
How our Roast Dates work:
We offer an array of roast dates per coffee and let you select based on your unique coffee schedule and preferences.
If there is an UPCOMING ROAST for a coffee, that upcoming roast date is listed at the top of each coffee's product page, under the tasting notes.
If there are past roast dates available, these are RESTED COFFEES. Choose from these past dates to jump our recommended 3-4 week resting schedule.
When will my order ship?
Orders exclusively of rested coffee will ship by the next business day.
Upcoming Roast coffees will ship by the Wednesday immediately after their Monday roast. Any orders with both rested and upcoming coffees will ship when the entire order is ready.
Make sure to check that the roast date you've selected is what you're looking for!
If you've already placed an order: Your Order Confirmation email will list each coffee and the roast date you've selected for that coffee. Orders with coffee in an UPCOMING ROAST are awaiting their magical transformation from raw to roasted, so there may be a momentary wait! Check our weekly roast schedule below for timing.
Order Cancellation Policy: Cancelled orders may be subject to a 5% cancellation fee if a refund is necessitated for processing charges that we incur.
OUR WEEKLY SCHEDULE:
Wednesdays: Announce our new coffee + full lineup for the week via our weekly newsletter (sign up here)
Sundays: CUTOFF FOR FRESH ORDERS. Order by today for the soonest roast.
Mondays: Roast for orders placed by Sunday cutoff date. Orders placed today will queue for the next "upcoming" roast.
Tues/Wed: Pack + ship orders.
Important Shipping Notes:
> Delivery days quoted during checkout are estimates, not guarantees. The only "guaranteed" services are FedEx 2-Day AM or better. Weather events may delay service, and package fumbling by the carrier is possible.
> We can assist with expedited shipping only if notified of timing. If you need coffee by a specific date, place your order and immediately reply to the confirmation email with your request and we will do our best to assist and upgrade if needed! Orders that expect a specific arrival date but do not contact us are not eligible for remedy if the package doesn't arrive in time. International travelers visiting the US, take note — help us help you!
_
> Please double-check that your delivery address is correct. If your order ships to an incorrectly entered address, it may fail delivery and take an undetermined amount of time to return to us. Denied deliveries or returned shipments are not refundable as we do not resell previously shipped coffee, but returned orders can be re-shipped at the customer's expense.

> We will notify you with order updates!
If you'd like to make any additions to your order before it goes out, simply (1) place another order on our site and (2) get in touch with us by replying to your new email order confirmation — we can combine your orders and refund any extra shipping cost. *Non-USD transactions will have 5% withheld from shipping refund for currency conversion*

Everyday Specifics by Carrier:
> USPS Ground Advantage is an unguaranteed economy service. Delivery typically occurs within 5 days coast-to-coast. Occasionally orders get stuck in what we lovingly call the "USPS Vortex" — We will assist as best as we can, but know that choosing Ground Advantage can spell delays and sometimes loss. No claims can be filed until 15 days after shipment, so please consider the USPS Priority upgrade as they take more care with packages.
USPS struggles with shared/public/communal mail units (as in apartments, dorms, etc). Select FedEx for more careful handling.
--> Hawaii Customers! Orders weighing 1+ pounds ship via slow-boat and may not arrive for 2+ weeks. Choose USPS Priority for faster shipment.
--> Alaska Customers! USPS Ground Advantage is often the only affordable service into Alaska, but transit times can be longer than 2 weeks. USPS is unclear about their shipping policies to Alaska, so only expect their assistance with packages deemed fully lost or destroyed. Slow shipping can't be helped.
> USPS Priority is the upgraded service speed above USPS Ground Advantage. This service typically delivers nationwide within 3 days but this time estimate is still "unguaranteed", and no claims can be filed with USPS until 15 days after the ship date. For even better service, consider our FedEx options.
> USPS First Class Mail International is a slow, economy service with no tracking available. It is only useful if your address is in a rural location far from a major city. Transit time is often 3-4 weeks but we have seen this service take more than an entire month. For timely, trackable service, use FedEx.
> FedEx is generally an excellent service with few errors and often worth the upgrade from USPS, unless you are aware of specific challenges with FedEx in your area. FedEx International is highly reliable and rarely makes errors. Customs/duties will be collected directly from you by FedEx separate from our checkout.
Where we do not ship:
The following countries are destinations we have found typically do not let our coffee past customs -OR- countries where tariffs are so high that it isn't worth shipping there:
- Argentina
- Chile
- Mexico
- Portugal
- Spain
- Turkey
