ROAST DATE

We just roasted our last freezer reserves of this coffee for our October Subscribers and we have a handful of bags remaining — get one if you can!

Junguilla features soft peachy flavors and a subtle florality that's easy to gulp.

Wilson Janamejoy is a special person in the Aponte, Nariño community. As a member of the ancient Inga tribe (descendants of pre-Hispanic Incas), his people have farmed their land for decades. After many years of hardship, their land is now a sanctuary for specialty coffee.  El Mirador, "The Lookout", has produced some award winning coffee, ranking 15th and 19th in the 2022 Cup of Excellence.

When the the Janamejoy family are not at El Mirador, they raise horses and operate a local store in the city, further revitalizing the community.

Only ripe cherries were collected, sorted by density, after washing, the beans were laid to dry for 20-24 days.

Process: Washed

Region: Nariño, Colombia

Variety: Gesha
