*NEW* Coffee Scoring Kit

This kit contains three coffees, each assigned a cupping score by Scott or Mark here at the roastery. 

The coffee industry uses a scoring system to communicate about coffee quality. Specialty coffee is defined as any coffee that scores between 80-100. Scores above 87 are quite rare. When scoring a coffee, we assess the intensity and cleanliness of flavors, the intensity and quality of the acidity, aromatic intensity, body, lingering impressing in the aftertaste, and other aspects of cup quality.

The coffees in the kit will range in score by a few points, and we recommend you cup them blindly. There is enough material for a handful of cuppings so that you can revisit the samples a few times.

After the tasting you can reveal the scores and the essential coffee stats using the included info card.
