*NEW* Peach Perfect SL-28 - Colombia, washed
Roasting on Nov 11, 2024
We're big fans of this clean, classic washed SL-28 from Linarco Rodriguez at El Bosque. It's aptly named and brings big, bright peach, mango and caramel.
Scott first tasted this coffee at the latest "World of Coffee", and we quickly arranged to buy all that we could.
Linarco and his family are third generation coffee growers who were blessed with the opportunity to purchase their farm eight years ago, El Bosque, a tribute to the local natural reserve forest. With experience and land, Linarco began with more exotic varieties such as tabi, pink bourbon, geisha and SL-28.
This coffee was a straightforward washed process - only ripe cherries were picked, then they were pulped, washed, and fermented for 28 hours. After a final washing they were dried for 21-26 days under airflow canopies.
Process: Washed
Region: Huila, Colombia
Variety: SL-28
