Chelbesa Gr. 1 - Ethiopia - Green

This is the unroasted version of our Chelbesa Gr. 1.

The Chelbesa One washing station is used by nearly 1000 surrounding farmers and is where Stephen from The Coffee Quest found this tasty gem.

At the washing station, coffee cherries float in water to remove debris and underripe cherries. Then they're de-pulped and left to dry ferment in tanks for 2-3 days, followed by washing and drying on raised beds. To ensure even drying, the parchment is frequently mixed and rotated, taking 7-10 days.
